VR Project Week 1

 






For VR Week 1, I created a proxy model of Nintendo's Bobomb. I started out with an initial blockout of the shapes, and adjusted for proportion. He has one bone for grabbing. After creating the proxy, I passed the model onto our animator so that he could create the base skeleton. For the next weeks, I will be sculpting the mesh and uprezing the game rez mesh so that it is capable of supporting a walk cycle.

Barrel Project Week 2

 


Continuing on with the barrel project. Here is the proxy model, high poly model (new and improved from last week's), the ZBrush sculpt, the game resolution model, and the game model with the high poly sculpt baked over it as a texture in the final image. Below is a snippet of what's to come, as I am expanding on this project for something personal. 

Proxy model of the Drakainian market booth, accessories pending. I'll be taking this booth through the full pipeline right behind the barrel. I'm looking forward to how it'll turn out.

Composition Project

 



This week we took a look at composition. This project began with looking at L composition, but as the project developed I also looked at Rules of Thirds, and Circle composition, though I didn't lean into circles too heavily. The top image is the initial render, the second adjusted to be a bit lighter for visibility on other screens.
