Barrel Project

 


For this week's project, we're beginning to look into generating game ready assets. To start off, I made a proxy and high poly crate. I am between deciding on a diorama of a late-night meal left momentarily abandoned on a pier, or a poor-man's romantic dinner. Following is an Arnold Render of the proxy barrel, a proxy lantern, lunchbox, and sandwhich, as I explore the first idea, as well as my current PurRef board.

Bonsai Update - High Resolution Screenshots




 

This week we looked at creating high resolution screenshots for our assets within Unreal. Additionally, my little bonsai tree stump has grown up to be a dead bonsai. Coming up soon, it'll evolve into a healthy, flowering bonsai.

Lego Project Week 1

This week we were introduced to rendering in Arnold and worked on developing our modeling skills by building legos, and then building a item with the legos we created.
 
I decided to create a bonsai tree, but ended up falling sick during the week, and the tree became a tree stump. However, next week is a continuation of the Lego Project, so I hope this tree will grow from a tree stump, to a healthy, blooming bonsai.
